Somehow I missed the 2011 release of Carry On (Amazon MP3 & Spotify), a fantastic album by Denver-based indie-folk band Paper Bird. The album is mixes great soulful songs like “Sounds Like Rain,” old time-esque numbers like “By The Wind, Sailor” and loads of other short instrumentals.
Next Tuesday, the band will release it’s fourth album, Rooms. After an early listen, I’m pretty excited about this one. Get to know the band with its Kickstarter campaign here and check out the new album’s first single, “As I Am” below.
