SHOW OF THE WEEK: Spirit Family Reunion at Threes Brewing

Longtime gcb-favorite Spirit Family Reunion is performing every Monday in January at Threes Brewing in Park Slope. The band, which released Hands Together last April and is currently pulling together some live recordings, will be joined tonight by NYC folk staple Feral Foster and virtuoso banjoist/unexpected busker Morgan O’Kane.

Threes Brewing is one of the coolest spots in the Slope and the venue, which complements its damn fine beer with a rotation of food partners from around Brooklyn, is currently serving eats from Dover & Battersby. The show is upstairs at Tiny Montgomery, which is an intimate room with no stage, so it should be a good time.

The music starts at 8, but get their early (beginning at 5) if you’d like the Family to brand your shirt, bag or hat with Bernie Sanders.
