The name of the game this week is Amos Lee. And to play said game, all you have to do is show up (as early as possible), stand in line (with an enormous blanket and a bag that weighs 10 tons because of *unnamed* contents), and then lounge under the stars (along with the whole of Brooklyn).
That was snarky, but in actuality we’re really pumped for this show, and it’s going to be a blast. Lee takes the stage following NYC’s own Lake Street Dive, who are a blast to watch and will be sure to impress the crowd in the opening slot.
Other shows of note include tonight’s second installment of The National at Prospect Park, with Lord Huron opening. Newport Folk Fest vets and gcb faves Houndmouth play Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, as well.
