Langhorne Slim Sings ‘Whisperin’ in New Orleans

Langhorne Slim recently spent two weeks in New Orleans – my favorite city in these United States. This morning, he posted a video of a new song called “Wisperin’.” He says:

I got bit by the bug of that place, and I’m not the same. Never have I been to a town so energetically complex. There’s a dance between light and dark that shook me, and I’m still shakin. I want more, I want in. I wanna dance there, and I’ve developed an urge to try all the moves. Along with my traveling companions, Joel Sadler and Sarah Schutzki, we cut a few short videos. Here’s one we did by the levee near the steamboat house.
