Partisan Records’ Wisconsin-based indie pop group PHOX will make its Newport debut this year, adding some modern soul flavor (and a little bit of banjo) to the lineup. The sextet from the town of Baraboo, home of the Ringling Brothers, released a visually-entrancing video for its song “Slow Motion” last week that pays homage to their hometown’s circus roots.
