Rayland Baxter hits the NYC’s Bowery Ballroom for a sold out performance this Friday with Houndmouth. For a taste of the show, we’re excited to premier the Sofar video below of a new bluesy number entitled “Young Man.” The song has been on the Baxter’s set list for a number of shows, but has yet to be released on an album.
“It’s about about all of us,” Baxter mentioned at a show in Nashville in January, “the wandering spirits in us all. It’s fun to peace out of town and make impulse decisions.”
The video was recorded at his Sofar Sounds performance in December in LA (See “The Tower Song” here as well). If you haven’t ever been to a Sofar show, they’re tons of fun. Get on the list here.
