This Week’s Must-See Shows in NYC

The season is upon us in which our concert calendars go from touch-and-go to go. Starting this week. Like right now.

A few of our favorite things? Oklahoma’s Samantha Crain comes back to the Big Apple on Thursday, playing dual sets at Mercury Lounge. Catch one of ’em. And this weekend, we basically suggest hanging out at Rockwood Music Hall. On Saturday, you’ll be able to catch Keenan O’Meara and The Boston Boys; Sunday, it’s back-to-back gcb friends The Falls and Joe Fletcher.

And if you haven’t heard the news, Band of Horses will be joining the Newport Folk Fest family this year. They’re also at Town Hall on Thursday. Aren’t we the lucky ones.
