MNFS: Lake Street Dive – “Better Than”

Lake Street Dive, the viral success story band of New England Conservatory grads, today released its sophomore full-length album, Bad Self Portraits (Amazon). The entire album is golden and their long time fave “You Go Down Smooth” is blowing up, but I’ve been grooving to the smoothier “Better Than” on this first day back in the office after a long winter weekend. Here’s a take from the studio of Seattle’s KEXP. This is my new favorite song (MFNS).
