It’s been a long while since we’ve had ourselves a proper gcb show. The gcb Winter Warm Up with Spirit Family Reunion and gcb Holiday Hootenanny with Joy Kills Sorrow were over a year ago (and heaps of fun), so this year we’re going to do a bunch more shows. And here’s our first…
grass clippings presents will kick off a year of good shows with Chapel Hill’s Mipso at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage One) on February 21st. The trio of three recent UNC grads venture up to NYC following the release of Dark Holler Pop – an album that debuted at #8 on Billboard’s bluegrass charts and was one of our favorites released late last year. The album includes “Redeye to Raleigh” (below), which made our top songs of the year list.
The show is free and it’s a quick one that will start right at 8, so get there early.
