Portland’s Ages and Ages – “Divisionary”

Newly signed to Brooklyn indie-label Partisan Records, Ages and Ages, like Typhoon, is yet another Portland, OR band with a ton of members and choral harmonies that will likely be chanted up on the festival circuit next summer. While the band’s album isn’t due out until March 2014, they’ve already released one track: “Divisionary (Do The Right Thing).” A follow-up to the band’s celebrated debut Alright You Restless (Amazon MP3 & Bandcamp), the band notes on its Facebook page that the next album will continue a trend of joyous sounds against disheartening subject matter.
