Appearing later this month at Timber!, the new outdoor music festival in Carnation, Washington, Zoe Muth is a Pacific Northwest girl that sounds like she’s from Nashville. With a timeless old time sound, Muth is one Seattleite (though she did recently move on down to Austin) that I’ve somehow never discovered until now. Last summer, Signature Sounds released her latest six-song EP, Old Gold (BandCamp, not on Amazon or Spotify), which is appropriately titled. Check out “Heart Like a Wheel” and “Walking the Line”…flawless.

Muth plays at Austin’s Hole in the Wall twice this week before she tours the West Coast and Midwest. Check out her tour here.
