Recent New England Conservatory Grad Sarah Jarosz, who kicks off the Friday session at this week’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival and is on the lineup at next month’s Newport Folk Festival, will release Build Me Up From Bones – her third album – on October 1st. The 22-year-old Sugar Hill Records artist recorded the album in the midst of her final semester at the Conservatory, but still managed to graduate with honors (as if being a prodigy didn’t already make us feel insecure enough).
Here are a couple of vids of tracks from the new album. That title track is badass and the second vid, “A Thousand Things,” was co-written with Darrell Scott. Stream her Telluride set live on KOTO here and check out her full tour schedule here. Lots of festivals and more dates will be added soon.
