This Week’s 11 Must-See NYC Shows

Spirit Family Reunion – Photo by Richard Kluver / grass clippings

This week, spend your Tuesday night in the Lower East Side, happy-go-luckily skipping to-and-fro between The Living Room and Rockwood Music Hall to catch Robby Hecht, Amy Speace, my new fave Nels Andrews, and pedal-steel god (or something akin) Rich Hinman.

Bust out your skinnies and brave the newly-reopened L Train on Wednesday for Horse Feathers and Frank Fairfield at Williamsburg’s Knitting Factory. Then Friday, if you have it in you, do double-duty by welcoming back Spirit Family Reunion at their early set at Mercury Lounge (they’re recently back from some overseas shows) before making your way to Hill Country BBQ for a three-‘fer – including Jeremy Current and Andrew Combs.
