Mindy Smith’s “One Moment More” Benefit

Mindy Smith

Mindy Smith, the Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter, lost her mom, Sharron, to breast cancer in 1991. Eight years later, she wrote “One Moment More” – the title track off the album that led to her fame.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Smith has released a special live version of “One Moment More” to benefit Women Rock for The Cure (download the track here). In addition, Smith will perform at the Opry on Tuesday for “Opry Goes Pink.” She’s invited fans to share images of loved ones lost to breast cancer HERE, many of which will be integrated into a video wall behind her performance. Public Instagramers can also post photos and tag their photo #mindysmithpink.

As a seven year sarcoma cancer survivor (not breast…I have no breasts for the record), it’s cool to see Mindy doing this and I encourage folks to download (and not just watch the video below).
