MNFS: John Fullbright – “Jericho”

Okemah, Oklahoma – birthplace of Woody Guthrie – is also the hometown of John Fullbright, a musician that stunned a gospel brunch crowd at The Station Inn in Nashville at this month’s American Music Festival week. Earlier this year, Fullbright released From the Ground Up (Amazon MP3 & Spotify), an album with a musical mix of Americana, folk and gospel, but with consistently impressive songwriting throughout. Next month, Fullbright performs at Rockwood Music Hall and his set will hopefully include “Jericho”. This is my new favorite song (MNFS).
