
To put it simply, there’s way too much happening this week – in a good way. Personally, my goal is to try and make it to see Trampled By Turtles at Webster and/or The Apache Relay at Mercury. One problem — they’re both playing the same night; one solution — they’re also both playing at Newport Folk Fest this summer.
The Lumineers also play this weekend at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The show has been sold out for quite a while, but here’s to hoping for a last-minute release of some tickets. (SHHHH: Word on the street is that they’ll also be playing a “secret” free show at 3:30pm before Music Hall for Record Store Day at a store in West Babylon, NY. Who wants to trek the hour with me?
