This Week’s Must-See-Shows Calendar, Including Trampled By Turtles, The Apache Relay and The Lumineers

Trampled By Turtles
Trampled By Turtles play with These United States at Webster Hall on Tuesday.

To put it simply, there’s way too much happening this week – in a good way. Personally, my goal is to try and make it to see Trampled By Turtles at Webster and/or The Apache Relay at Mercury. One problem — they’re both playing the same night; one solution — they’re also both playing at Newport Folk Fest this summer.

The Lumineers also play this weekend at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The show has been sold out for quite a while, but here’s to hoping for a last-minute release of some tickets. (SHHHH: Word on the street is that they’ll also be playing a “secret” free show at 3:30pm before Music Hall for Record Store Day at a store in West Babylon, NY. Who wants to trek the hour with me? It’ll be worth it.) Check out this performance of “Dead Sea” below, shot in L.A.’s Echo Park:
